English Expression about understanding

I'm trying to find an expression in English that means someone isn't able anymore to understand and "follow" what the speaker is saying.

I thought that "I can't follow her pace anymore" would do the trick, but I'm not sure as I haven't found any examples of that on the Internet.

Please, if you know an expression that could mean that, I would appreciate the help.

Thanks for reading.

Best regards,

Thanks for your reply, Clive.

Trying to explain myself better, the situation is like "Anna said something that Dina couldn't agree or discuss about, like something about a different reality to her. So she speaks to herself 'I can't follow her pace anymore.'" (if that one were right from start). This is the expression I'm searching for. In that case, I can't use 'I don't get it' bec
