There is this youtube video:Judging from this guys dialect, where does he come from?Britain perhaps, which region?You can judge a person on first sight based on how the person speaks, including the dialect. A person talking like "white trash" is considered so even if the person is of high social rank. Which social rank would you give a person speaking this dialect?

I'd say he's from somewhere in north-western England, maybe Lancashire. You could go to Rover_KE's profile and ask him to look at the video. He's from that area, and could probably give you a more accurate and reliable answer than I can.

Not everyone does that. The idea of a "social rank" is a strange one. Even among people who consider ideas of social status or class to be important (not everyone does), there is no single definition that they all agree on. There are other people who consider the concept of it to be judgmental, snobbish and unfair.

The man in the video speaks well enough. He is clear and easy to understand. It's impossible to judge what kind of person he is, just on the way that he speaks.
