Hi! I have written a composition to address the following question. Please help me check it.

What do you think make a good speech? What qualities do you see in a good public speaker?'

From my own perspective, a good speech should include three main factors. They are the perfect timing, a well-structured content, and an engaging style. The very first thing we should take into consideration is not how we deliver our speech, but how we present it in time. No matter how good the content is, if the speech lasts for too long or finishes with too much time to spare, we could be at a disadvantage. This disadvantage may matter more in case our speech, as a presentation, decides our score in class. Second, an effective speech ought to be well structured, It must be divided into three sections with supported and topic-related ideas. A clear structure keeps the audience on track of main points. Third, a speech should be delivered in an engaging style, which, in my opinion, is really hard for the presenter to succeed in. An informative content would not be enough to maintain the audience’s attention, hence the need to perform different appealing techniques.

In my experience, a good speaker is topic-oriented, well prepared, and certain to include the 3 factors in a good speech that I have mentioned previously. They would never go off-topic and precisely identify the subject that is discussed not only at the beginning of their speech but in the rest of it. Besides, to provide the listeners with accurate information, presenters have to do thorough research and prepare the materials carefully. Last but not least, since I think a good speech has perfect timing, a clear structure, and an engaging style, a speaker should consider these factors in order to deliver a speech effectively.
