When people are engaged
with each other in all/any kind/s of trading, they do not know how much risk
they are taking with those engagements or involvements. It is obvious that all engagements
start with a good understanding between the parties. However, unfortunately, with
disclosure of more information as time progresses, the engagement can swing to either
direction (good or bad). For example, in a two party engagement, if one party
shows more interest in the engagement than the other then the other party dominants
him (or her). This is known as Porter’s theory of dominance. This explains the risk of showing interest. Then
the logical research question is: How
much interest to be shown by a party over the other and under what conditions?

When people engage in any kind of trading with each other, they are unaware of the amount of risk they are taking by entering into the engagement. While there may be a good understanding between the parties at the start, the success of the engagement may become more assured or more doubtful as more information is disclosed. For example, in a two-party engagement, if one party shows more interest than the other, he puts himself at the disadvantage of being dominated by the other party.
