Topic: Big salary is more important than job satisfaction. Do you agree or disagree?

The importance of money over job contentment is debatable. It is often argued that the high wages are much more crucial than the sense of job satisfaction associated with the career. I strongly disagree with the statement and will provide further details in the course of the essay.

On the one hand, high wages are important, however, it is conducive to the tense of workers. If the owners offer high wages, along with it more responsibilities and targets need to be achieved. As a result, people will try too much to handle their duty, as well as, the employee will have to work late from day to night. Individuals become more competitive, moreover, or even cheat in the working environment. On the other hand, the health will be affected, workers spend most of their time taking care of the job so that they do not have time enough to relax. In addition, the more time they spend working, the more lack of time they give to family.

By contrast, it can be found that job satisfaction plays a crucial role in career and individual life. Firstly, people are free minds and happy with their job are the reason for not only the increased productivities but also keep them motivated and then improvement in career. Employee who can experience what they want is more successful and give them a sense of fulfillment whereas people who can not do what they want can be stressed and work less efficiently. Steve Jobs, chief executive officer (CEO), and co-founder of Apple is a salient example. He said that:" People with passion can change the world for the better." and that is what he did. He tried to do what he want and what he can so now, he is a successful businessman. Moreover, the connection with their co-workers becomes good.
