The bar chart shows the percentage of young people in higher education in 2000, 2005 and 2010.


The bar chart indicates the rate of students learning higher education in four different countries.

Generally, the number of people in higher education in country D was highest during the research period. While the rate of students in A and D both rose significantly.

In 2000, around 37% of young people were undergraduates and the rate experienced a remarkable rise to 48% in 2005 and 50% in 2010. A similar pattern is indicated in country D, the number increased from 45% to 50% in 2005 and rose dramatically to 60% in 2010.

Meanwhile, country C has a significant rise in the number of students in tertiary education from 42% to 48% in the period of five years and stayed remained to 2010. In contrast, there was a negligible decrease from 40% to 39% in country B and then in 2010, the percentage of students rose slightly to the first number in 2000.
