THE FIRST TOUCH OF SPRING
by: omer yahya
Walking through the blissful row of green trees
I find myself in front of a still pond
I see the golden flowers swarm by bees
I keep walking the path i see beyond
I feel wonderful knowing i am blessed
The blue birds chirping above me singing
I feel my pure soul leaving my vast chest
I see a large fountain nearby springing
Nature is very enchanting and great
Have some feelings, there are not any cons
God bless me i just can’t pay back the price
The beauty keeps on going, on and on
As the peaceful spring leaves, My love fades away
Hoping it would return to me one day
Is this iambic pentameter?
