Here is an essay I've written yesterday. I'd appreciate it if you could go though it and give me some comments.

Nowadays, young people make great efforts to get a good job and be able to develop in their field in the future. That is why the question of which employees are chosen by companies (people who are creative, innovative and able to work independently or people who able work in a team and follow instructions) is very relevant today. I believe that different characteristics are required for different employers, and it depends on them which criterion needs to be prioritized more.

On the one hand, working independently is a great option for most people who want to show themselves in some field of activity. Numerous companies are hiring such candidates because they need new, innovative ideas and solutions. For example, IT-companies employ workers who are capable of creating something new that the world hasn’t yet seen. In this case, the employee doesn’t necessarily work in the team, because problems and misunderstanding can arise between the members of the team. For example, the work of an architect at an early stage can’t go on as a result of the fact that he/she was forced to work in a team. In other words, these people need independence and freedom. Significantly, innovative people bring new ideas for their work and help develop the company in which they work. Moreover, an innovation is very important for the progress of any organization.

On the other hand, teamwork can bring good results. With this in mind, a person working in a team will be more effective than one that works alone. Furthermore, teamwork increases the ability to communicate when there is any difficulty; the person doesn’t get stuck, and can ask others in the team, which can reduce the time of resolution. Moreover, following the instructions given by the boss, any place for an error won’t be allowed. For example, if a person can follow the machine’s operating guidelines, it’ll never give an erroneous result.

Importantly, a person who works in a team can’t realize creative decisions and ideas, because the only thing that is required of it is the mechanical execution of clear instructions. Having said that, today most companies are aimed at encouraging their employees to work in a team, because such collaboration is capable of introducing new ideas and developing a company. However, it should be remembered that the process of work and its outcome depend on all members of team.

All things considered, I want to say that a lot of companies need creative production require a candidate for innovation and ability to work independently, despite this, a team can be equally innovative and creative, provided that all members of this team are interested in to achieve positive results of their teamwork.
