Many students find it difficult to concentrate or pay attention at school.
What are the reasons? What could be done?

Education is part of life. It is a harsh reality of today that a lot of students lack of concentration on subjects at school. In this essay, I will shed light on the causes and solutions to this problem.

On the one hand, there are some main reasons for this phenomenon. Firstly, in poor countries or areas, electronic devices or modern facilities are not enough or even lacked. If students only study subjects through books which contains mostly theory and do not learn through computers which have more fascinating information and videos, images, they will feel monotony quickly. Secondly, teachers are not trained professionally. Some teachers do not have enough knowledge and experience to teach children. Others have widen knowledge and horizons about their subjects they teach, but they do not know how to share and help students learn it well. Finally, education institution puts on too many lessons on both teachers’s and students’s shoulder. Teachers must teach a large number of lessons at least 7 hours per day. As a result, students have to do a lot of exercises. So, they spend less time on entertaining and playing outdoor activities.

On the other hand, there are some solutions that can tackle this problem effectively. First, governments should support modern facilities for students and teachers. Then, universities need to train teachers better by teaching them how to help students understand and remember the main ideas of lessons. And schools should choose good and quiet experienced teachers. Next, education institutions must reduce difficult formulas, lessons, add subjects about soft skills like presentation skill, solving problems skill.

To sum up, completely pay attention to study at school is considered to be difficult for students for various reasons. However, we should take the bad and the good to change this problem better.
