So I have to do this homework assignment and well enlgish is not my best topic. I was wondering if you could help me. I need to be able to decided if the adverb in the sentence points out a verb , adjective or another adverb. So in this sentence: Late in the afternoon storm clouds gathered overhead. Overhead is your adverb, but is it a verb, adjective, or an adverb?
