I need more information. Why would another person be telling you about 'something' that is not your goal? Do you mean simply that you want to change the topic of the conversation?

I think you can use of "beyond" instead of "beside". For example, "It's beyond my destination".

Do "beside" and "beyond" have various meanings?

And is "it's beyond/out of my business" good to use?

I have never heard or seen anything like 'beyond my destination'!
I think to say 'It's not my goal' is good enough, if you mean being a musician is not what are you going after in life. Or 'It's out of my reach' if you're not capable of getting it. I would love to have confirmation from English experts though.

Current in the US is "It's out of my network" - but I have a feeling that it won't stick around for long.

Thx and I want to ask again. Is there a big difference between beyond and beside??
