As you can see, my favourite movie is Kill Bill and so I’m gonna tell some facts about it, I’m gonna tell you what’s the story about and why I like this movie so much.

You’ve got the expiry here, I’m going to start with the story of the movie, then I’m gonna continue with the reasons why I actually like this film so much and at last we’re going to talk about some facts of it.



Reasons:



So why I like this movie: It’s not a simple action movie or a classic love story or something you can watch every day in the cinemas. It’s like really special because I think the story is really interested packed. Because you’ve got a blonde woman, I mean she’s blonde, she’s got blue eyes and she’s skinny and she fights and not just like kickboxing or something like that, which you can see every day, it’s Kung-Fu and some Asian martial arts. So behind all this blood and these rolling heads you can also see some feelings. You can see that she does not kill somebody because of fun or because of money; she does this for her daughter, who she thought she lost. And the scenes are fantastic, which have been made by a genius- Quentin Tarantino. The story doesn’t take place just in only one place, like we usually see it in the movies, the story migrates from one place to the other and so it involves different cultures like the Chinese, American, Japanese and so on. Also interesting is that there are chapters, which are like stories for them-self but they build at last one big story. What I really appreciate is that there’s a mixture of different ways how you can tell a story through a movie. So you have different styles, like the old Asian Kung-Fu, Karate-kid- style, which you had in the past in the Asian martial arts movies. Then there is a part which is telling trough an animated cartoon, then there’s a western-style in it and so on and so on. And what is also a really big point of Tarantino’s talent is the choice of the music. I mean I’ve seldom had a case where one song from a movie

Has stayed in my head, but I’ve really never had it before that several songs of a movie have stayed for a really long time in my head.











Story:



Kill Bill is a two-part action thriller film, there’s Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. The story is about a woman, called Beatrix Kiddo, who’s been a professional killer and a part of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. Beatrix Kiddo has got different names in the movies like ‘Kiddo’, ‘The Bride’, or ‘Black Mamba’. Kiddo used to be together with Bill, who was also a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad and the boss of her. And once she comes to know that she’s pregnant from him. And because she doesn’t wants that her child grows up in the area of killers, she decides not to come back after a job. So she lets Bill believe that she’s dead and she starts a new life. After you can see a scene where Kiddo prepares to get married with an owner of a record shop and suddenly Bill shows up. Then a massacre starts where the assassination squad kills everyone in the chapel. The last words from the bride to Bill are ‘it’s your baby’ and after Bill shoots in her head. Four years later Kiddo wakes up in a hospital, she’s been all these years in a coma and she notices that she hasn’t got a baby anymore. She flees out of the hospital and starts her revenge to every member from the assassination squad. So she makes a list called ‘ Death List Five’ and in the end is Bill. She starts stepwise to work off her list ‘till she arrives to Bill. When she arrives in Bill’s house she’s shocked to find her 4-year-old daughter B.B., who apparently expects her mother. Bill, Kiddo and their daughter spend the evening together peacefully. Then when B.B. went to sleep, Bill shoots Kiddo a dart containing a truth serum because he’s got some question which he wants that she responds them honestly, as why she leaved and so on. After they start a fight and Kiddo succeeds to kill Bill with the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. And what I have to add is that in the movies there’s no chronological way of telling the story, so everything is blent. So you have to be really attentive because it can be very weird. When I’ve seen the movie the for first time, I’ve been really confused because I’ve watched it in English and I’ve watched the second part first so yea. (Show Film)



Facts:



The leading character acts Uma Thurman and she played also in an other Film from Tarantino called Pulp Fiction.

There were also other famous actors like Lucy Liu, Samuel L. Jackson, Daryl Hannah and other.

Then the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique is fictional.

The budget for the movie was about 30 Mio Dollar and the revenue from it was about 181 Mio Dollar.
