Englich pronunciation :need help,
Guys...........
I'm Manju , I work in MICROSOFT as Exchange support engineer. I have strange problem with pronunciation.I interect with more North American people, I feel difficulty in understanding them and conveying my message to these people.
I'm doing it better but pronunciation require lot of understanding on stresse words, vowels, and thought groups.
Can some one from this forum , if willing to help me in improving my english and pronunciation, and I really want to sound American,Please help me with your suggestions and pronunciation tips and rules.

You could get books and the corresponding books on tape or CD and read along with the recordings. A good English dictionary will also help. They have extensive pronunciation guides.

I took a phonetics course and I thought it helped a bit. I also listened to audio tapes too.
