Engaged or Engaging

If the following two sentences are gramatically corret, what is the difference?

1) I have been engagin in this business since the year 2000.

2) I have be engaged in this business since the year 2000.

Well...English is not my first language but

Yuri I don't think both sentences are correct!

It should be "I have been engaged in ..."

Natives! Any other suggestions?

Both sentences are wrong. It should be "I have been engaged" as suggested by others.

And by the way, the present participle of 'engage' is 'engaging', not engagin.
