"Engage" verb tense use in a sentence

Is the use of "engage" verb tenses correct in both the sentences?

"The show will present 14 videos realized between 2000 and 2012 in which she engages herself as a performer, director and video artist"

or

"The show will present 14 videos realized between 2000 and 2012 in which she engaged herself as a performer, director and video artist"

Please let me know, thanks!
