I just want to know if there is any exact term used moreoften in regular speech which refers to "to be interested in something(activity, work, occupation etc) by doing it regularly" . I've got some ideas as follows:
I've been engaging in bodybuilding for about 2 years. I've never dealt in painting.
Top answer
'Into' works informally. I've been into bodybuilding for about two years. I've never been into painting.
