Endure mental pressure VS Undergo mental pressure

Hi

Would you say that both of the underlined phrases are equally natural and carry the same meaning?

I knew that with that decision I would have to endure some mental pressure.
I knew that with that decision I would have to undergo some mental pressure.

They are not natural to me. Do you mean that your decision would not be popular with your associates, and they would pressure you to change it?

Many a time when we take a certain decision (terminating an employee or two) or do some action (paying a lot for online shopping) we do experience stress. In such a situation, can we use the phrase "endure mental pressure"?

I endured/underwent a lot of mental stress after I terminated three of my employees.
