How do you pronounce "krin", like "grin" or like "mine"?

I say it like "grin," if anybody was wondering. EN-duh-krinn

Specialists in the US refer to themselves as endo [-krin] ologists.
The odd thing is that the same clinician will, sometimes even in the same sentence, refer to their discipline as endo [-krain] ology.
In my opinion, the only thing to do is just be consistent.
I prefer [-krin].
