Ending in TO

Hello,

Can you end a sentence with TO?

For example,

You have to show your willingness to work.

Can you end it with TO WORK?

Thanks.

Top answer

It's certainly okay to end a sentence with an infinitive, as in your example. In the past, it was considered bad form to end with a preposition alone, but it's now acceptable.
