end of line?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could help me with a phrase i came across on wikiedia. In this sentence: " McArthurGlen Designer Outlets sell end-of-line ranges, samples and one-offs at discounted prices," what does "end-of-line" mean? Does it mean "out of season"? I can't find it in any dictionaries...

I think its about products that are not produced anymore.so they are not available in all sizes and because of that regular shops stop ordering them.
