Enclosures - Copies - bcc

I´m so happy to found this forum!!! It would be a great if someone could answer this questions:

1. "enclosure/s" at the end of a letter: what is the right way of typing? Can I type the whole word or only short form (Enc. Encs (for more than 1), Encl. (underlined), Enc. (with dot or colon)? Is "E" capital letter or small letter? Or is there no rule/preference?

2. The same for Copies: Cc or cc or cc. or copy/copies or Copy/Copies?

3. Is bcc only for E-Mails? Or is it to write on a copy (not the original) to show the addressee of the copy, that the main addressee don´t knwo that copies were sent (intern)?

Example:

Dear Ms Bradshaw

blablabla ...

Yours sincerely

bcc: Mr Big

Thanks for your help!

Hi Anonymous, 1. As far as I know, Bcc ( Blank Carbon Copy) is only for e-mails. Bcc is addressed to a 'secret' recipient.
