En route?

You can use the product while on en route to work.

Is "while" redundant in the sentence above?

Thanks

Top answer

'While' is marginally redundant; 'on' is downright wrong, as 'en route' means 'on the way'.

Thanks. Do you think it would sound better if ai removed "while"?

First you have to remove "on". Then you can remove "while" or leave it, as you wish. (I'd leave it.)
