Employer want to have a chat thru phone for interview

0Dear teachers and friends, 02br
00A couple of days ago, I received an email from Company ABC asking me if I’m interested with Engineer position in their company. She said that she have a headcount for engineer position and wondering if I’m interested to pursue. She also asking me whether I’m doesn’t mind to switch into more operational role since my career’s background more to consultation and project. And if I want to pursue, when I’m available for phone call. Here is my email draft to her. 02br
00Dear Ms. Name, 02br
00Thanks for your email. I really appreciate that. My apologies for my late reply. (or should I say sorry for the late reply? And put any reasons for that?) Yes it’s true. For the past 1 year, my career is more to consultation and project. It’s a really different from operational role which is I involved while working as a Engineer at Company XYZ three years ago. However, still I enjoyed both works and it involved a different set skills. I would be glad to have a chat with you. Could you advice me of a convenient time for you? May I suggest today at 2.00 pm? 02br
00I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. 02br
00Thanks and best regards,02br

0Hi Hampeh,02br 02br 00A "chat" is far too casual a word - this is an interview and you should consider it as such. 02br 02br 00If it was only a couple days ago, then don't apologize for your "late response" - it was a weekend, after all. Do NOT delay in replying next time - they will think you are not serious about the job.

00A "chat" is far too casual a word - this is an interview and you should consider it as such. Don't make the mistake that this is an informal situation - your e-mail it too casual and your must make it more formal, and you must approah this phone interview as an interview and not a friendly chat.02br

00For first name and last name is quite confusing. Some people put first name in front of their name while other put in the back. As example for Chinese name. It’s quite confusing. Is there any guide how to identify their first name and last name.02br

0I can't help you if the person is in an Asian country where this is the practice. If it is an American or European company/person, then the family name is second and the given name is first. If you cannot tell, then just put both names in the order it was given to you, without a title. I've seen many letters here to "Mary Smith" in which the person starts with "Dear Miss Mary," and that would n
