Emphatic pronouns

A. I saw the girl myself.
B. I saw the girl herself.
C. I myself saw the girl.
D. I herself saw the girl.
Please help me out. Confused about the positions of emphatic pronouns.

Top answer

I prefer having the emphatic as close to the original as possible. That being said, I think that both A (very common, but not my preference) and C are okay. B is good, but D is out of the question.
