When he saw the emperor, the minister began to give his respect, with his hands and legs on the floor and his butt raising up to the sky.

Is the above sentence correct?

0It was the "began to" part that caused the question, B/W. You say "he began to," but that creates the expectation that he may not have finished it. 02br

00As for the "his **** pointing up," it's fine grammatically, but "****" is a pretty informal word choice.0-
