Embedded clauses

I am a parent helping my son (Yr5) with his SPAG homework. He has been asked to think of examples of sentences with embedded clauses, where removing the commas changes the meaning of the sentence...? I am struggling - which I am ashamed to admit! Also asked if there is a pattern to t!hese sentences? Any help out there?

Thank you
