Embarassing person

Hi,

can you define in English a person as "embarassing person? With the meaning that when you are with him, you feel embarassed because of his embarassing manners ( awkward, not appropriate to the situation).

Do you get what kind of adjective I need?

Thank you in advance

Hi, You could say eg Tom is an embarrassing person , but this does not make the reason clear. You might say e g Tom is socially inept / socially awkward. eg Tom has no social skills.
