how do i start a letter to the coach of a foorball club i want to join but i have no idea if the person is a guy or a gal and yea i just dont know how to start it off

Before you try to write any kind of letter, I would recommend that you learn about the use of capital letters and punctuation. Writing everything in lower case with no punctuation just looks awful. Is there no way you can find out this person's name?
