Hello all!
I had an offer to work with a professor. But he didn't have any funding. But I am still interested in working with him. I had told him before that I would try to arrange some alternate means of funding. Now that I have alternate ways of funding I am writing him an email. Please, can you help me sound more professional!
Dear Professor,
I hope you are having a great day! Further to our email correspondence regarding the internship opportunity, I would like to say that I have talked with my parents and advisor (## Do I need to mention who is going to fund me or should I not specify the details?) and they have agreed to support me with whatever I wasn't able to cover. Is the opportunity still available? As I had mentioned earlier this would be a really important opportunity for me to learn and grow both as a researcher and as a person!
Thanks and Regards,
XYZ
