Hi. I am writing an email to my lecturer, and I have a lot of question about my grammar, my tone of speaking etc. that I hope some one can help out. How should I asked him whether is he available to meet up just for catching up? Thank you so much for your help

Thanks a lot for your reply! this is my draft email, writing to an admin tutor from other university where I applied to. I really wish to show my great appreciation towards the chances he had given to me even I am still not his student, and I feel really upset to disappoint him. I hope my email will bring out what I mean in an appropriate way.

My results for this semester had just released, and unfortunately, I am regret to say that I didn't manage to meet the requirement for my conditional offer. I have attached my transcript to this email for your reference. It will be great if there are still any more chances for me to negotiate with my results, but I am ready to take on any consequences as my own responsibility.

However, I would still like to take this opportunity to show my appreciation for the chances given to me in ***. This semester was a tough semester for me in (current university) as I have all my core modules done in one semester, yet the steep learning curve allows me to learn so much that I never believed I would have done it in just a few months.

I was rather disappointed with my results, but I am even upset to once again disappoint people that have trusted on me. Thank you for always encourage me and believing in me, they really meant a lot to me.

Anyway, I am now already in *** as i think it is necessary for me to be here when the results release, so that I can respond more efficiently to any needs or requirements regarding my application.
