Email reply to employ

A email with attachment of my resume and portfolio has been sent out since 2 week and I have got a reply from a senior art director of a Singapore design studio. They found my art portfolio impressive and creative. Some more, asking where I got to know their company. However, not yet mentioned that they would give me an offer.

I wonder how I should reply to them, the reply must also convey that I am about to apply for a long term visa pass which allows me to work in Singapore. I have been looking up for job opportunities for working in Singapore, also, in last week, I have been approved for EPEC (employment pass eligibility certificate) assessment.

Hi, I would send an email that starts something like this: Dear [name], I'm writing to follow up on my application for the [title] position which I applied for several weeks ago. At the time, you mentioned that you were impressed with my portfolio, so I wanted to see whether you are still considering me for the position. I also wanted to mention that I am currently applying for a long term visa which will allow me to work in Singapore.
