My skills on time planning were well developed .Being a stylist i had to work by appointments though in some cases i would double book myself and managed to work through it. However this was not the case when i started my course .I had to manage my time effectively .Setting priorities and to work within deadlines has become the focal point .Having time to socialise ,reading, lectures and library all these needs routine and commitment on my part .Use of diary has become the central role in my life as this helps me to manage my time effectively, Cottrell,[2008].By multi-tasking ii have learnt that by being complacent this world will move on without me.
Being aware of my organisational skills has helped me to realize that this skills essential for my development and success as a student. Using resources available i started attending workshops, library to be fully competent. Learning to keep back up copies by saving my work on my desktop and using USB greatly improved. Butterworth [1992] argues that "identifying the similarities and differences in a problem helps us to solve the problem ".I realized that my cognitive skills were poor in relation to my studies. My way of solving problem, thinking and visualizing was below average. Therefore i had to set time to address my attention and concentration span. I had to formulate a personal development plan to be able to work on both my weaknesses and improve on my strengths. However this was daunting and overwhelming as they was a lot of work .I had to develop a positive attitude which is the main hallmarks of self improvement. Although it maybe underrated by many people because of its simple concept however for me it helped me to stay positive and calm in times of crisis .I am now able to look beyond and see the big picture as this has helped me in creating my SWOT analysis. Refer to appendices [2].
Identifying my strengths and weakness in different areas helped me to set focus on the skills i had to improve and to plan how i was going to accomplish my strategies. Creating a SWOT analysis was an important step in formulating strategy. "The best strategies can accomplish a mission" argues Griffin, [2003] .After evaluating myself i formulated a strategy that helped me to be different from others. Though it appeared to be simple and took up a few minutes to set up it was so important. It helped me to uncover opportunities that i could take advantage of, and by understanding my weakness i have managed to eliminate threats that can catch me unaware. Taking effective notes has been my challenge therefore i had to use library, workshops and practicing using different techniques of writing i.e. abbreviating my words and use of journal entries. My way of writing has greatly improved. Identifying my strengths and weakness helped me to create my SAPRA. Refer to appendices [3]

I notice that you have written much of it using Past tense, so it does not seem like part of a job application.

If you want people to take the time to correct this long composition, it would be nice if you actually asked (politely) for help, instead of just posting the passage. And, as Clive has already said, give us some context.
