[email] inquiry about a program

Dear Users,

Would you mind helping me identify errors in the following email?

Dear Mr. XYX and Ms. MNB,

My name is XYZ and I come from ABC. I have been learning Chinese language (in its simplified form) by myself for the past few years and I would love to come to Taiwan to study Mandarin full-time. I have found the program offered by your university, and I would like to inquire if it is possible to obtain any kind of scholarship (or other type of funding) to cover the tuition and living expenses while studying in Taiwan.

I have already checked the possibility of obtaining the HES scholarship offered by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, but due to procedural issues, I cannot apply for it. Even though the Ministry of Education would be happy to grant the scholarship, the XYZ side cannot process my application because I am not a student of a university in my country. As a matter of fact, according to the Taiwan's Ministry of Education, the HES scholarship requirements do not require of applicants to have such a status, but the XYZ side imposes their own prerequisites, which is quite unfortunate.

Therefore, I'd like to ask if there are any scholarships offered by the university for those who wish to learn Chinese? Is it possible to work at the university to partly cover the tuition, or the living expenses? I have two university degrees and over 6 years of teaching experience.

I would be very grateful for any kind of information, as I am very interested in Chinese culture, history, and of course, language.

With kind regards,

Thank you

Thank you for giving it a look.

I'm not sure, though, what errors are in these:

My name is XYZ and
learning Chinese
the Taiwan's Ministry of Education (I suppose it must be the definite article?)
tuition, or (no comma? I thought we always had to add a comma before or)

Don't use that in the body; it is in your signature.

You need an article.

Yes, no article with a possessive.
