Email

I need some to check this email please.

Hi Bob

I just wanted to confirm if you had a chance to sent an email to Ural clients advising them about me leaving Sparkles.

I was planning to send an email from me personally just to say thank you for everything and asking them if anyone would like to me my colleague James who will be taking over my role.

Thanks

Thanks Mister

I have one question. Why did you change sent to send? As my understanding I am talking about the past so shouldn't it be sent?

Sent is the past and send is for present and future?

Thanks

Zybastek. Why did you change sent to send?
It is an infinitive: 'to send'. The finite (present perfect) verb in your sentence is 'have had (a chance) + to do (something)'.

Sorry, I still do not understand it. You've got me completely confused.

Because of Have had we need to use Send? Why is "have had" a present perfect? I thought I am asking Bob a question about a past of he had a chance to....

I think you had better start at the beginning; you seem to have no grounding in grammar. You can start by reading about finite and non-finite verb forms at these links:

It's very hard for me to understand English tenses....
