Else

Sir,

1.Would you like anything else.

2.Would you like anything else to eat.

"else" here in (1) and (2) is an adverb.

NB:I have a "Cambridge Learner Dictionary" in which "else" is only as an adverb, no other entery at all.

But at "www.gurunet.com" it shows that "else" can work as an adjective also.

I am very confused.Would anybody clear my doubts?

Thanks.
