Ellipsis

Mister Micawber,

would u please correct me if I am wrong.
Can u see any ellipsis in this sentence? Omitted words. I thought perhaps before "leaving"?

The more unruly subplots have been eliminated, leaving the hero, a middle-aged financial journalist named Mikael Blomkvist and an emotionally damaged computerhacker, Lisbeth Salander, at the center of every scene.

Top answer

] leaving the hero, a middle-aged financial journalist [who is] named Mikael Blomkvist and an emotionally damaged computer hacker, Lisbeth Salander, at the center of every scene. I can think of no other 'elided' words which can work grammatically before 'leaving'.
