Electronic devices to networkㅡ the compound noun??

Wi-Fi (or WiFi) is a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_LAN technology that allows electronic devices to network, mainly using the 2.4 gigahertz (12 cm) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UHF and 5 gigahertz (6 cm) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_high_frequency http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISM_band.

I'd like to know whether I can regard "electronic devices to network" as a compound noun.
