Elder class

Hello everybody.

I don't know what Elder class means. Could you please help me.

He explained that the successful candidate would be working a lot of the time one-to-one with a particular child in Elder class who had learning difficulties.

Does it mean those students who are oder thah their classmates?

Thanks for the help.

It is not a normal or common English expression (American English). It is some name for a class that they have invented themselves, or it might be particular to the location or country school system.

Jamal 1315I don't know what Elder class means.

Me neither. As you know, it's from a psychological thriller called Little Whispers. (You should have mentioned that in your post.)

Unless you've read it, your guess is as good as anyone's about the meaning of "Elder class".
