Thank you. Now I can somehow understand the meaning behind it. Now, can you help me to analyze the lingual structure of the sentence? Can I rewrite it as:

"taking account of the quasi-instantaneity of communications in cities, it shows that this kind of eminently elaborated form of simultaneity in cities is reminiscent of the concept of the wholeness that exists in the brain"?
