Either/neither/both

Sir,

I have to fill up the blank using (either/neither/both).

1. My mother took out two cucumber from the fridge and cut (neither/both) of them.

2. Last night, my brither and I heard a ghost story.(Neither/both ) of us could sleep after that.

3. John and mary have a cow, but (neither/either) of them knows how to milk it.

4. This library is open every Wednesday and Friday. We can go ther on (either) day.

5. My uncle helped Shirni and me to climb the tree. He didn't want (either) of us to fall down.

Are the words given in brackets correct?
