Either way

Hi.

A:She wasn't here.
B:She was here!
A:Did you she her?
C:I don't remember either way. (I don't remember whether I saw her or not.)

Question:
Can either way serve the same meaning as above without much context? I'm afraid it would be ambiguous.

eg.
A:Are you going to come party tonight?
B:I haven't decided either way. (I haven't decided whether I'll come or not.)

Thank you very much in advance.
