Either uses

does Either can be used as mabye. I know the definition is both.

"It can either turn out to be nothing or everthing or something in between."

When I try to translate it to my language I cant think it as both or but more like- mabye, perhaps. especially mabye- I think it is the meaning between this line. what either means in this sentence?
