Either ; Neither

1. When I was young, I used to get sick since I didn’t work out and eat wholesome food either.

2. When I was young, I used to get sick since I didn’t work out and eat wholesome food neither.

I found sentence 1 in a book. I am doubtful about the use of either and neither in this sentence.

In this sentence, It showed that I didn't work out and eat wholesome food at the same time. I think of using neither instead of either is correct. Right?

No. #2 is wrong, too. These are correct:
