EFL Valencia...advice

I'm planning to move to Valencia to teach English. It'd be great if anyone could give me some information about when the best time is to go, is there enough work available, the renting situation etc...

Hi I've heard that Augest to September is the best time to go, Because thats when the term starts and they need teachers urgently. As for accomodation if you go to the reception of the school they usually have a notice board which has information from other teachers wanting a room mate. Or if you get the local paper it has info, and local foreighners bar has pin ups of rooms to let.

  • Its cheaper to rent with other teachers and the rent should be 300 euros a month and i think 500 is the maximum but you can get cheaper.
  • There are jobs at the high school and try private schools as well.
