Effective learning methods

Hi everybody,

I didn't know where I should ask this question. It is not grammar and not vocabulary if we consider its topic. Where should I put such a question next time?

There is a Hungarian book named: 1000 questions 1000 answers. This book has the following structure:

- there are general topics in the contents (e.g. Family, Politics, Environment, etc.)
- there are 25-35 questions in a topic
- the answers are explained in detail
- there is a vocabulary for every detailed answer

Do you have any idea how we could interrogate each other? (Is the word 'interrogate' good for expressing 'ask each other about the learned material' ?).

We learn in a two-people group.

I can understand the words and expressions but it is hard to memorize them. We ask each other about the other's opinion on the question. We go through the questions one by one. We talk some sentences about every question.

It is something but I'm looking for better learning method. I think that some randomness would help the memorization but I don't know how could we introduce randomness into the learning process.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Thank you. I thought that there are some better methods I don't know.
