samerrustom intellectual and cultured
'intellectual' is more about your interest in matters of the mind.
'cultured' is more about your behavior—knowing how to act among people

An educated person is one who completed the history of that subject and maybe contribute a little to that history.(eg thesis) (Education is the history of what many people have contributed to subjects)

An intellectual is one above that class. Most times incites, provokes, and apply full understanding beyond the subject.
