Please help me. I have been asked to draft general rules and regulations for a kindergarten. I have attempted following. Could u please check and correct or suggest better writing. Thanks a lot for your help.

You have chosen one of the best schools for your child.

Parents and visitors are requested to adhere to following rules of the School, wherever applicable. These rules may be changed/altered from time to time depending upon the requirements of the school. Please note the school is in for non-english ones.

Rules & Regulations

1. Since this is an English Medium School, ‘English Speaking” is preferred by parents and visitors – exception “not-knowing English” persons.

3. It is parents’ ultimate responsibility to drop in and pick up their child from school at the right time. Maid /Aaya service from the school is a ‘courtesy’ service. Therefore, parents are advised to take particular care in this regard and avoid sending any unauthorized or unknown person to school for this purpose. The School will NOT be responsible for any unpleasant incident.

4. Before sending to school, parents must ensure that child is not suffering from any health problem and is not empty stomach.

5. JEWELLERY, CASH and any EXPENSIVE items are NOT allowed with children at school as these can be easily lost while playing. The school will not be responsible for loss of such things.

6. Children must wear clean clothes, shoes and socks, and carry a hand kerchief daily to school.

7. Nails should be trimmed regularly and hair should be properly combed.




8. Punctuality is important. Pupils should at the school 10 minutes before the
morning assembly bell rings at 7.40 am

9. FEES should be paid regularly by the 10th of every month.


10. All school business must be transacted at the school office during school hours.

11.Parents must submit a leave letter in advance to the class teacher if they plan leave for their child.

If your child is absent long (for many days), due to ill-health, a Medical Certificate must be submitted to this effect.

12. Parents are requested to purchase the exercise note books and other stationery for their child as informed by the teacher from time to time.. The school will not supply the same.

13. Students should bring the text books, note books and stationery things regularly to school as instructed by the teacher.
