editing, editor

0 Hi,02br
00are the t's in "editing" and "editor" tapped? I think they should be tapped, but since there's already a D right before the T, tapping those t's doesn't sound very good to me. I've never heard those words pronounced, so I'm asking here.02br

12blockquote 10Not to me either. The syllable that follows the t in question is not particularly strongly stressed, but it's not as weak as the syllable which precedes it either. The result is that you have the choice.

0How strange, I didn't think of "edited it" and a tapped T really sounds better there. That means my istinct sometimes works! 05002br
00I usually tap t's in words like "reality", "electricity", etc., I like them better that way.02br
