Edible VS Eatable

Hi

I have seen the difference between the two words many times, but...

Which word do you think would work here?

A - What do you want to eat?
B - (jokingly) Anything edible or Anything eatable.

Would you call this kind of cream eatable/edible?

Thanks,

Tom

If we are saying that something is safe to eat, i.e., not poisonous, the we tend to use only edible.
