Grammar

edge, outside, side

How would you phrase the sentence please?

When giving my baby food that I've microwaved, I start from the edge side outside which is colder and work my way to the core which is hotter.

Thank you

Top answer

I'd say 'from the outside' (and 'centre' instead of 'core'). However, food from my microwave comes out the other way round. In any case, most people stir heated food thoroughly and taste it before feeding a baby.
